UB not only offers suitable cosmetic products for women of colour but also aims to create a shift in the beauty industry as it relates to true equity, diversity & inclusion. Our products were made particularly for those who are just as conscious about current beauty trends as they are about social issues. Those who are passionate about creating positive change and making an impact in their community, all while rocking their favourite lipstick.

Our objective is to not only encourage women to look & feel their best but also inspire them with hopes of bettering our collective communities. We believe that when you look good, you feel good and thus, are more inclined to do good!

Given the current societal context, we are now more cognizant than ever of how proper representation and diversity is a critical component in all fields. The beauty industry is no different. With Black women spending nearly nine times more than our non-Black counterparts on beauty products, UB's mission is to bridge current gaps & ensure that we are represented in every single capacity.

UB prescribes solely to diversified beauty standards as opposed to the standard Western, Euro-centric ones and strives to empower all women, irrespective of their race, ethnicity, age or socio-economic status. Here, we celebrate each person's individuality!
